Earlier this month, we spoke to our Year 10 parents about the fantastic opportunity taking part in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award presents for our students.

First launched in 1956, The DofE award offers students the chance to learn new skills, meet new people, and make a real difference in their local communities. 

Through a combination of volunteering, physical activities, and skill development, young people around the UK are able to broaden their horizons by taking part in this life-changing experience.

Best of all, each student’s DofE experience is personalised through the activities you choose to complete – meaning your DofE can be whatever you want it to be.
